Adult membership
Fees are now due and should be paid as soon as possible Please click here for details As at 20 March 2019, 275 had paid and 39 were still to pay. Click here to check your membership status, this page also shows options and rates. Brexit was delayed till after 29 March but VSexit took place on 31 March 30 people were due to pay, but 2 have since renewed The other 28 have been removed from the membership list, the distribution list, all relevant Facebook groups and won't have their England Athletic affiliation renewed Junior membership Juniors who have not renewed have been removed from the membership and distribution lists As at 20 March 2019, 107 had paid. Valley Striders men were runners up, ladies were runners-up and vets were winners in Leeds Country Way Relay with fastest leg trophies for John Hobbs & Daz Hibberd, Sarah Grant & Rachel Mackie, Hannah Corne & Sarah Graham
Northern Road Relays 2017
In the Northern Road Relays Championships, V S Boys Under 13 team finished 29th and V S Mens team finished 28th In the National Road Relays Championships, V S Mens team finished 69th |

Valley Striders Athletics Club is based in Alwoodley, Leeds, Yorkshire, England.
We affiliate to England Athletics and compete in Road, Fell, Cross Country and Trail Running.
We have 280 adult members and 120 junior members. Our runners range in pace from 12 to 5 minute miling. Olympic Marathon runner Tracey Morris is one of our fastest runners but we have many much slower! Each year we organise the Meanwood Valley Trail Race and Junior Races in April/May and the Harewood Trail Races, Junior Race and Fun Run in October/November. We also have a Cycling Club, affiliated to British Cycling, which has 200 members and a Triathlon Club affiliated to BTF (click for links here or at top of page). |

Yorkshire XC Championships 2014 - Valley Striders finished 4th mens club and 12th ladies club. Northern XC 2014 - Valley Striders finished 13th mens club and 15th ladies club. National XC 2014 - Valley Striders men finished 42nd out of 145 teams. Northern Road Relays 2014 - Valley Striders women finished 16th out of 55 teams. Leeds Country Way 2015 - 1st mens team, 2nd ladies team, 2nd vets team, other 2 teams in top half West Yorkshire XC 2015 - Valley Striders finished 3rd mens team, 4th ladies team Yorkshire Cross Country 2016 - men 5th, women 8th Northern Cross Country 2016 - men 22nd, women 24th National Cross Country 2016 - men 51st

Many thanks to John Hobbs (men's captain), Simon Vallance (vets' captain) and in particular to Myra Jones was not only ladies' captain but who also organised the B and C teams.
