Peco
XC Sunday 19 February
The next Peco race is
this Sunday at Barnbow / Pendas Fields, 1 mile for
school years 4 to 6 at 10:00 and 2 miles for school years 7 to 12 at
10:20. Race details can be found at www.pecoxc.co.uk (and click on the link for
race 4).
All V S juniors
school years 4 and above should be capable of running the race. School years 3 and below should enquire to
the [email protected]
email address. Not available to juniors
on the waiting list.

to see how our other juniors have fared.
Training
and Food Tuesday 21 February
6pm - Juniors and Beginners/Improvers from Far Moss. Not available to juniors on waiting
list.
Session followed by
food at 7:15 pm book at [email protected]
(not via facebook).
Food is Chinese
chicken curry (also veggie option), let us know if veggie option, and choose
portion size - adult (£3.50), child (£2.50).
Book by Sunday 19 February 10pm.
There was very good
feedback (!) about quality and quantity of the chilli a week ago, so please come
along for the food (parents, it saves you cooking when you get home).
Extra
Training Session Sunday 26 February
After a successful
session last Sunday with around 20 juniors taking part, we have decided to
organise another Sunday session.
This session is
open to all juniors, including juniors on the waiting list. Meet 09:30 in car park by Lakeside Cafe.
Juniors are
recommended (a) not to run junior parkrun (and possibly instead volunteer as a
marshal) or (b) just jog round as a steady warm up for the training
session. We reserve the right to exclude
juniors from doing the training session who have over-exerted themselves at the
parkrun.
There will be two
groups, both doing a lap of the lake, the faster group doing a couple of loops
for extra distance. Within each group,
we will have frequent stops for the slower runners to catch up, and faster
runners are encouraged to jog back to pick up the slower runners.
We'll have some
Bob's relay races to finish the session.
We would be very
pleased if as many parents as possible come and join in the session. The slower group will be going at a very
steady pace!

Training Tuesday 28 February
Due to the state of
training area at Far Moss 6pm, most junior groups are likely to be cancelled. Please check the website nearer the day.
