Peco XC at Templenewsam this Sunday
Please see www.pecoxc.co.uk
for official race details, where to park, where to register, course maps, start
times etc.
Please note that one of the car parks
requires payment on Sundays, the rest are free.
Arrive early to get a space near Home Farm.
Junior races are at 10:00 and 10:20. Register from 09:00 at the Stable Courtyard
near Home Farm, bring £1, some pins, and collect your number to be used for the
whole series. For tips etc see various discussions on VSAC Junior Facebook Group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/369749209844475/
Senior races are at 11:00 and 11:10. Register from 09:15-ish. You will need to know your race number to be
able to register. If you haven't got
yours already, on the day it will either be under the V S banner (NB we don't have
the flag) or on a table in the courtyard.
NB your number is listed at www.valleystriders.org.uk/vsteams.htm
which will enable you to register first and find your number after registering. My info is that Myra will have numbers at
Roundhay parkrun on Saturday so you could collect from her then.
The race fee for Seniors,
normally £3, is just £2 because food is not being provided. Runners are meeting afterwards at the Brown
Cow.
Anyone without a V S vest should wear a white
top. If you have any other questions,
see the VSAC Facebook Group, there are several discussions there. https://www.facebook.com/groups/291402584033/
It would be great if Seniors
arrive early to support our Juniors, we expect to have at least 20
running. And after the junior races (but
before the senior races) the trophies for Leeds Junior Race Series 2016/7 are being
presented, there are a numbers of Junior Striders amongst the winners, so come
and applaud them if you have time before warming up.

This win by the VS Men puts them equal 1st
