V S Mini-Update for Juniors & Parents- 24 April 2016

Training on Tuesday 26 April

To confirm that training for juniors this Tuesday will be at Grammar School at Leeds

This session is only available to fully paid up junior members.

Meanwood Valley Trail Junior Races on Tuesday 14 June and Vets Race on Tuesday 28 June

In last week's V S Update I referred to the suggestion from Paul Jones that parents (of juniors) who, due to childcare, were unable to marshal the junior races could marshal the vets race instead.

I am extremely disappointed that there were NO responses from any parents of juniors to this request, neither to help at the Vets race nor to help in the Junior Race.

In the next few days Valley Striders need to decide one way or the other whether to put these races on as we need to submit permit requests to Leeds City Council and England Athletics and we need to promote the events to young and old athletes in Yorkshire.

NB change of date for Vets race as previous date clashed with a cricket match.
