. We are marshalling in the middle of Soldiers’ Fields (near where it
says “Trade Area” on the map) and hope to be able to set up a small tent there,
ostensibly for marshals’ provisions but we’ll also hand out the numbers from
there.
If you’re running, don’t forget to bring your club
vest and 4 safety pins. Collect your number and timer chip from the team
tent (look out for the Valley Striders banner). Note that you must return
your chip at the end of the race – runners not returning chips will be required
to pay £7.
Spectators and supporters welcome. We’ve got a
good place on Soldiers’ Fields as you can watch the start of each race and then
get quickly to the top of Hill 60 to see the runners come up for the end of
their lap and for the finish.

Alas I
cannot offer much parking. Previous experience of large events in the Park
would suggest approaching from the west using

running at Noonstone on Sat who has a spare place in their car. No worries if
not, the trains are pretty decent to Tod.”
