DIRECTIONS TO THORNES PARK - for runners (and supporters welcome, too!)

Leave the M1 at junction 40, then at roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A638 (signposted Wakefield)

Continue forward onto Wakefield Road - A638. Entering Wakefield - beware of speed cameras. Forward into gyratory (2.1 miles from M1) then turn right A642 (signposted Huddersfield). NB this will be the last exit from the gyratory.

Thornes Park is 400 yards on your left along A642 (Horbury Road).
