Ex-Striders included 1st John Convery 1:59:57 and 100 Nicola Wilde 2:49:19. Horsforth won the women's team prize. Yorkshire bronze medallist was Nell McAndrew in 2:23:45. Mark Hetherington of Abbey Runners and Leeds University climate room fame had to sprint in to beat Nell by 7 seconds.

EAST HULL 20 - JULES BARLTROP 1st WOMAN - CONGRATULATIONS

13 Drew 65:13 + 63:34 = 2:08:47 gained 7 places in 2nd half 100 pts
23 Roy  67:17 + 66:37 = 2:13:54 gained 8 places in 2nd half 99 pts
53 Jules 70:35 + 72:47 = 2:23:22 gained 3 places in 2nd half 96 pts
This is Jules' first ever race win!

The route is claimed by the organisers to be 20.2 miles. The Grand Prix committee have been asked to adjudicate whether Jules' time is "better" than Bob's
